Cereal:
  • General Mills Gluten Free Rice Chex Cereals- Comes in plain, honey nut, cinnamon, chocolate, and strawberry. I have tried all but the strawberry, and they are delicious!!! The best part is that they are cheaper than alot of Gluten free cereals, and you can get them at a regular grocery store.
  • Envirokidz cereals- This brand of cereal is great if you are looking for a kids type cereal that is more sugary. My favorite kind is the Peanut Butter Panda Puffs...yes they all have fun names like that:)
  • Nature's Path Organic Corn Flakes(fruit juice sweetened or Honey'd)- I love to top these with berries.
  • Erewon Strawberry crisp cereal- yummy lightly sweetened cereal made out of brown rice and corn with dried strawberries. They also have crispy rice cereal that i have not tried yet.
  • New Morning Cocoa crispy cereal- very similar to cocoa krispies but Gluten and dairy free.
  • Nabisco Cream Of Rice hot cereal- A nice hot cereal that is easy on the tummy:) Great with fruit,or a little bit of brown sugar and raisins.
  • Quaker instant grits- another hot cereal but made out of corn.
Frozen Breakfast-
  • Van's Gluten Free waffles- These are absolutely delicious! It is nice to have a frozen waffle brand that is Gluten, dairy, and egg free. They come in many different varieties. My favorite's are the blueberry, and the apple cinnamon. I just put them in the toaster or toaster oven...top with fruit, and i have a nice breakfast. Make sure you get the Gluten free kind!
  • Van's Gluten Free Cinnamon French Toast sticks- I was surprised to find that these were also egg free. They are quite a bit thinner than regular french toast but very tasty.
Mixes-
  • Chebe bread mixes- All Chebe products are also free of all grains, soy, potato, yeast, and MSG, and all but the original are dairy free. I have used the all-purpose, and the pizza mix. But they also have foccacia, garlic onion breadstick, and cinnamon roll mix. They have alot of recipe ideas on their website. I have used the all-purpose mix to make tofu pups in a blanket...I am going to try it with the garlic/onion soon. The package calls for eggs but you can make it with substitutes.
Bread-
  • Food For Life- I get the Yeast-Free Whole Grain Brown Rice bread. They have several Gluten free breads though. I find them in the frozen section at my health food store. yes they do run 6-8 dollars a loaf. I put the loaf in the freezer and take out a few slices at a time. They make great sandwiches:). They also make some good Brown Rice tortilla's.
